Welcome to the March newsletter from Gulf Coast Dance Alliance (GCDA)! Can you believe it's already March? Time flies when you're dancing up a storm! Let's dive into all the exciting updates and events happening this month.

Youth American Grand Prix Success: Last month, four of our talented dancers from the Artistic Enrichment Program (AEP) showcased their skills at the Youth American Grand Prix, and wow, did they make us proud! Let's give a huge round of applause to Edison Lee for placing in the Top 12 for both Contemporary and Classical Ballet. Emery also shined bright, securing a spot in the Top 12 for Contemporary, while Madelyn wowed the judges with her performance, landing in the Top 24 for Contemporary out of a pool of roughly 200 dancers. We couldn't be more thrilled for their achievements!

Upcoming Competition in Atlanta: But the excitement doesn't stop there! Our AEP dancers are gearing up for another exhilarating competition at the Universal Ballet Competition in Atlanta from March 15th to 18th. Let's send them all our support and best wishes as they continue to showcase their incredible talent on the national stage.

Recital Picture Dates: Don't forget to mark your calendars for recital picture days on April 17th-19th. If you're unsure about your scheduled time, feel free to reach out to the front desk for assistance. These pictures are memories in the making, so let's make sure everyone is camera-ready!

Spring Break Closure: A quick reminder that the studio will be closed for Spring Break from March 25th to 29th. We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved break filled with fun and relaxation. We can't wait to have you all back, refreshed and ready to fine-tune those recital dances as we head into April. Remember, attendance during this crucial time is essential!

Nappie Awards Nomination: It's Nappie Time, folks! We need your help to show some love and support by nominating GCDA for the Lagniappe "Nappie" Awards. From now until March 24th, you can nominate us for categories like Best Dancer, Best Summer Camp, Best Arts Educator, and Best Dance Studio. Let's make our mark in these fun and prestigious awards!
